From Japan’s first V8 water cooled diesel engine in 1950 to the strapping D-Max range launched in 2017, Isuzu has been making waves since the very start! The first vehicle introduced to South Africa in 1979 was the KB Range which went on to be South Africa’s bestselling one-ton bakkie for two consecutive years! 1993 saw the launch of the first double cab and need we say more? Over the next two decades Isuzu launched six KB ranges, broke world-wide records in 2010 at the 72hr Endurance Challenge, launched The Isuzu Off-Road Academy in 2011 where adventure fanatics could enhance their skills and rolled out limited edition bakkies in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019 with the Midnite Special Edition, Serengeti Special Edition, X-Rider Limited Edition and the X-Rider Black Limited Edition respectively, Isuzu has certainly kept us enthralled!
